Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee June 14-15, 2022 Meeting Announcement June 14 – 15, 2022

The meeting presentations will be heard, viewed, captioned, and recorded through an online teleconferencing platform. The committee will meet in open session to discuss the following:  On June 14, 2022, under Topic 1, the committee will meet in open session to discuss amending the EUA of the Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to include the administration of the primary series to children and adolescents 6 years through 17 years of age.  On June 15, 2022, under Topic II, the committee will meet in open session to discuss amending the EUA of the Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to include the administration of the primary series to infants and children 6 months through 5 years of age, and also to discuss amending the EUA of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to include the administration of the primary series to infants and children 6 months through 4 years of age..

Meeting Materials
FDA FDA intends to make background material available to the public no later than 2 business days before the meeting.  If FDA is unable to post the background material on its website prior to the meeting, any background material will be made publicly available at the time of the advisory committee meeting, and additional materials will be posted on FDA’s website after the meeting.

The meeting will include slide presentations with audio components to allow the presentation of materials in a manner that most closely resembles an in-person advisory committee meeting.

Public Participation Information
Interested persons may present data, information, or views, orally or in writing, on issues pending before the committee. FDA is establishing a docket for public comment on this meeting.
